COMMUNITY BASED DEVELOPMENT @ SPOTTISWOODE PARK

Part of the existing Spottiswoode Park will be redeveloped as a new Neighborhood Park (up to max area of 10,000 sq.m.); any remnant green spaces of existing Spottiswoode Park will be designated as a habitat reserve area with low human intrusion.
The neighborhood park could be in the form of a linear-connector or a regular shaped park of any profile or size within limit; but must include a guided natural trail around habitat edge to enhance the character of the park and educate residents and visitors of existing biodiversity.

Reinvigoration. To fill with life and energy; energise. The overall design not only focuses on encouraging human activities throughout the spaces but also on increasing the biodiversity of the area by introducing more wildlife attracting plants and creating more habitats. The design also focuses on a more natural outlook and environmentally friendly methods as sustainability is a significant aspect of the design.
